This page is maintained by the Lumen team to answer common privacy questions about the Lumen product ("Lumen", "we", "us"). It describes the data we collect, why we collect it, and how businesses that use Lumen handle their own customers' data.

1. Data we collect

When you create a Lumen account we collect:

• Account information: name, email, hashed password.
• Business information you enter: business profile, products, services, prices, policies, and FAQs.
• Usage data: page visits, feature usage, and product-analytics events.
• Billing information handled by our payment processor.

2. How we use your data

• To operate your Lumen workspace and answer your customers.
• To secure and improve the product.
• To send transactional emails (billing, security, account).

3. Your customers' conversations

When a visitor chats with your AI agent, the conversation is stored inside your workspace. Each workspace is isolated. Other businesses cannot access your data.

4. AI processing

Lumen uses AI models to answer questions. Only the necessary business knowledge and conversation context is sent to the model to generate a reply. We do not use your conversations to train third-party models.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the vendors we rely on to operate the product (hosting, payments, analytics). We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights

You can export or delete your workspace at any time from your settings. Requests can also be sent to hello@lumen.app.
